Have you noticed that I've been crying every day for 33 years?

The painting was inspired by my stay in Palermo, Italy. It is a combination of Roman and Arabic decorative motifs. With the old motif of God as an eye - observer of destruction as it happens in the world on the edges of diverse worlds. Terror that is a bleeding wound and tears that turn into diamonds in a prayer that connection will lead to development and deeper understanding of ourselves and each other instead of destruction.

Privately, this image is related to the time of observation, when the old fear of being hurt again came to the surface so strongly and not allowing me to remain in merging with another existence equally terrified of potential hurt.
